Open Face Cubano Sandwiches
Ingredients
- 4 slices Sour Dough Bread, Large slices from the center
- 1 pound thinly sliced ham
- 12 slices Gayo Azul Swiss Cheese
- 8 slices dill pickle
- 4 tablespoons yellow mustard
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, softened
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F.
- Spread the softened butter on the sliced sourdough and place on a baking sheet. Bake for 5-10 minutes until crispy
and lightly browned.
- Spread mustard on each slice of bread.
- Layer each slice of bread with ham, pickle, and Gayo Azul Swiss Cheese.
- Place the prepared bread in the oven and bake until the cheese is melted and bubbly about 5-7 minutes.
- Serve immediately.
